Aker의 CEO Øyvind Eriksen는 “Aker는 여전히 가나의 DWT/CTP 블록의 자원 잠재력을 믿고 있다. AFC는 이미 이 블록 개발에 투자를 하였으며, 이 블록의 개발을 지속할 수 있는 잘 준비된 상태이다”고 말했다.

이번 거래는 Pecan 프로젝트로부터 잠재적인 향후 매출과 생산 수익에 따라 대상금이 지급되는 earn-out 방식으로 진행된다. 이 때 대상금은 Aker의 현재 북 값과 비교하여 값의 변동이 예상된다.

AFC Equity Investment는 아프리카 개발 지속 가능성을 위해 공공-민간 협력을 통해 설립된 아프리카 다자간 개발 금융 기관인 아프리카 금융공사가 소유하고 있다. 이 회사는 6개 섹터에서 105억 달러의 대출 포트폴리오와 다른 투자를 구축하였으며, 지난 15년 동안 Ghanay에서 다른 섹터에서 자본과 대출을 제공하는 등 여러 프로젝트에 투자하였다.
